Pre-departure Vlog: #1

Hey Friends, Family, and Ms. Laura Buchholz (epic marketing teacher):

I'm sure some of you know and some of you don't, but I will be studying abroad in London from the beginning of January til the beginning of May 2010. Being the Youtube addict that I am, awhile back I started following the Vlog of a guy named Charles Trippy. He and his fiance were such successful viral marketeers, that they decided to create a Vlog everyday for a year and got quite the following. Well I have decided to steal their idea as a way to not lose touch with you guys, and document this epic adventure (hence adventures of an american boy).

Although I'm not sure if I will be able to do a video everyday (actually I know that I won't), my hope is to post once a week with a collection clips from the week of random life and travels. It would tickle me to death if you'd follow along with my adventure.

Seeing as I had never created a video before, I figured doing a practice video before I left might be a good idea. Another reason for this pre-departure post is that I am in a class called Creativity and Communication and our final project is to do anything we want basically. So I decided to create this Vlog, and I also made a homemade journal to write in while I'm abroad. The journal is super sick! I designed everything myself and hand-bound it MYSELF at a local art store. I will include it in my next posting.
